Some problems relating to the management of spent fuels
Description
This paper describes the scope, organisation and principles of nuclear safety in France. The Interministerial Committee for Nuclear Safety, set up in 1975, co-ordinates and helps to direct government action in that field at national and international levels; its functions are discussed in detail.
