Convective mixing at electrotransport in melted indium and gallium wire held by oxide film

Description

Dependences of effective diffusion coefficient on current density and capillary diameter are studied at electrotransport in melted indium and gallium wire specimens. Convective component of effective diffusion coefficient is found to be proportional to the second power of current density and to the third power of capillary diameter. It is shown that wire elements application is efficient for gallium and indium deep refining
