The importance of electric fields of ionized nanoparticles for radiation therapy

Description
The model according to which the electric fields of ionized nanoparticles, placed in tissue, enhance the biological effect of ionizing radiation is presented. The model is based on the data on enhancement of the influence of γ-rays on biological cells by static electric fields and estimates of typical intensities of electric fields of ionized nanoparticles in biological tissue.

Ïðåäñòàâëåíà ìîäåëü, ñîãëàñíî êîòîðîé ýëåêòðè÷åñêèå ïîëÿ íàõîäÿùèõñÿ â áèîëîãè÷åñêîé òêàíè èîíèçîâàííûõ íàíî÷àñòèö óñèëèâàþò áèîëîãè÷åñêîå äåéñòâèå èîíèçèðóþùåãî èçëó÷åíèÿ.
