Application of radioabsorption and microradiographic methods for the study of ion transport processes in photographic paper

Description
The transport processes of 22Na+, 137Cs+, 45Ca2+ and 212Pb2+ ions were studied in FORTE photgraphic paper by means of a radioabsorption measurement technique and with a photoemulsion and a solid-state track-detector micrographic method. The ion concentration profiles developing in the photographic paper were determined, together with the diffusion coefficients and activation energies characteristic of the ion transport processes. Abstract (German)
Die Transportprozesse der Ionen 22Na+, 137Cs+, 45Ca2+ und 212Pb 2+ wurden im Photopapier FORTE mit Hilfe eines Radioabsorptionsmessverfahrens untersucht, ferner auch mit einer nitroradiographischen Methode unter Verwendung einer Photoemulsion und eines Festkoerper-Sparendetektors. Bestimmt wurden die sich entwickelden Ionenkonzentrationsprofile im Photopapier, ferner die Diffusionskoeffizienten und die fuer die Ionentransportprozesse charakteristischen Aktivierungsenergien.
