Description
The trivalency of uranium can be easily established in frozen solution by epr. The broad resonance signal observed at low temperature (7 K) with g = 3.5 appears as characteristic of the trivalent state in UZrF7(powder), U(C5H5)3. tetrahydrofuran, and U(C5H5)3.CH3-(frozen solutions)
