Description
At the Atominstitute of the Austrian Unversities a neutron velocity selector was developed, which has a transmission of 48% for neutrons having wavelength longer than 0,2 nm. The resolution depends on the beam divergence and the angle between beam and rotor axis. For a beam having a divergence of 5' the resolution Δ/lambda is about 3%. (orig.)
