A fast critical reactor assembly with strong energy dependence of adjoint flux

Description
In order to investigate the reactivity effects of scattering material in a fast neutron spectrum, a critical assembly with strong energy dependence of the adjoint flux was designed and built up. The details of construction and the neutronic properties of the facility are described. The results of reactivity measurements in this fast critical system, named SEG-6, can be used to check the group cross-sections of elastic and inelastic neutron scattering and to compare different methods of reactor calculation.
