Description

Multipass technique is well established method for scattered light amplification in Thomson and Rayleigh scattering diagnostics for local plasma electron temperature and density measurements. We present a new configuration by using two sets of lenses and flat mirrors, in the frame of Rayleigh scattering on nitrogen neutral gas chamber. The focusing capability, stray light and scattered signals related to spectrometer slit aperture and number of multipass are analyzed and compared with other multipass method
