Special features of vibrational spectra of mixed TlIn/sub 1-x/Fe/sub x/S2 crystals

Description
Studies of the effect of partial substitution of indium atoms by iron on the phonon spectra and phase transition temperatures of TlInS2 single crystals are presented. Large TlIn/sub 1-x/Fe/sub x/S2 (x = 0, 0.001, 0.01) single crystals were grown and specimens to be used for IR reflection measurements were obtained by spalling along the cleavage planes. The IR reflection spectra were investigated in the frequency region of 40 to 500 cm-1 over a wide temperature range
