Study of structure and properties of complex titanium carbide

  • 1. Inst. Yadernoj Fiziki AN RUz, Tashkent (Uzbekistan)

Description

Low-temperature examinations of non-stoichiometric titanium carbide structure show the existence of a new low-temperature phase. Formation of the phase is kinetically strongly becoming slowly. It was cleared up of existence of the phase in the systems where part of the metallic (metalloid) atoms is replaced the other ones, so in this case together with non-stoichiometry - defections of metalloids positions part - additional loads is arising related with difference of metals (metalloids) atomic radii. One-phase three-and four-component samples:Ti0.9Ta0.1C0.66, Ti0.8Ta0.1Nb0.1C0.68, Ti0.8Ta0.1Nb0.1C0.71, TiC0.31O0.08N0.27, TiC0.5O0.08No.09 with cubic structure of the NiCl type have been examined
