Electron in the two-center Coulomb field with charge Z1=-1, Z2=2

Description

Coulomb two-center problem with opposite charge Z1=1, Z2=2 is considered. The system of equations in spheroidal coordinates is solved by continuous analogy of Newtons method and method spline-collection. Energy spectrum and wave function of the electron in ground and some excited states are calculated. A continuous spectrum of problems are considered. A connection between one and two center phase shifts are examined. 2 tabs.; 5 figs. (Au)
