Description
A core catcher is described consisting of collector and inner vessel where the latter has a collar which conducts the fission products into the trough. The collector has numerous cooling pipes which stretch out between the bottom raft and the surrounding wall and can be brought into circulation through the coolant from the lower region of the melting tank upwards. Es wird ein Core-Catcher beschrieben, der aus Sammeltrog und Innenbehaelter besteht, wobei letzterer einen Kragen aufweist, der die Kerntruemmer in den Trog leitet. Der Sammeltrog weist eine Vielzahl von Kuehlrohren auf, die sich zwischen Bodenplatte und Umfangswand erstrecken und durch die Kuehlmittel aus dem unteren Bereich des Schmelzbades aufwaerts in Umlauf gebracht werden kann.
