Monitoring of radiation parameters of loop-type irradiation channel
Description
The monitoring system consists of measuring probes with self-powered detectors and calorimeters, of a connecting route for the transmission of signals from the sensors, and of a measuring and recording unit. The measuring probe consists of 7 self-powered detectors DPZ-1 m. The calorimetric probe consists of 5 calorimeters with tungsten bodies and 1 compensating calorimeter. A digital measuring system was used for signal measurement and recording. The monitoring proceeded in the WWR-S reactor core at a power output of ca. 5 MW. The power input of thermal neutron fluence and the specific gamma exposure rate during irradiation were determined from the measured values. The results are shown in tables and graphs.
