Structure of high-carbon martensite formed from hot deformed austenite
- 1. Moskovskij Inst. Stali i Splavov (USSR)
Description
Structural-morphological characteristics of martensite in 80Kh5 and 120Kh6 steels have been studied vs. conditions of high temperature thermomechanical treatment. A hot deformation of the steels in austenite state is shown to decrease the martensite structure grain size, to change the correlation between twinned and packet-type martensite crystals and to change the velocity of two-phase decay of martensite upon low tempering
