Some characterization of a nonlinear dynamic in variable stars

Description

Ways are sought for determining the number and properties of differential equations describing a simple model of a variable star. The white dwarf PG 1351+489 was chosen for non linear modelling. The trajectory is reconstructed in phase space. The trajectory projections on different planes are presented graphically. (M.D.) 3 figs., 13 refs
