Angular distributions and proton polarization in the d(e,e'p)n reaction

Description
In the framework of the nonrelativistic approach the total effect produced by the meason exchange currents (MEC) and the final state interaction on formation of angular distribution and polarization of protons in the d(e, e'p)n reaction are studied. A great attention is focused on providing correspondence between the constructions of MEC and the realistic interaction in the np system. The predicted values of the proton polarization are measurabe. An experiment is suggested which enables one to study the interference of the longitudinal and transverse parts of the deuteron electromagnetic current. The calculated e'p-coincidence cross sections are compared with Saclay experiments made under different kinematical conditions
