Description
Why natural resources economics is important? Mathematics is useful in physics and chemistry, now in economics. This paper shows Hotelling's model and its development across the time. It explains mathematical concepts used by that author in order to demonstrate the rationality of public and private owners and to explore which way would be best one in the of preserving natural resources
