Radiolysis of tetrazolium salts in polyvinyl alcohol

Description
Radiation-chemical yields of formazons in binary systems, containing polyvinyl alcohol and tetrazolium salts as additions were measured. It was ascertained that they constituted more than a half of radical yield in pure polyvinyl alcohol. ESR spectra of the systems mentioned were measured at different temperatures and relative changes in the radiacal concentration were determined. It was assumed, that increase in single radical concentration at T>400 K was caused by radical couple participation in the reaction
