The management and disposal of radioactive wastes in Italy
Description
NUCLECO was formed in June 1981 and is a company jointly owned by Agip Nucleare (60%) and ENEA (40%). Agip Nucleare is a part of the ENI Group, the State owned corporation for oil and gas. ENEA is the Italian National Committee for research and development into nuclear and alternative energy systems. The main activities of NUCLECO are described. (Auth.)
