Proton collisional excitation in the ground configurations of Fe+12 and Fe+13. Pt. 3
Description
Values of proton collisional cross-sections at coronal energies have been computed for all transitions between magnetic sublevels of the Fe+12 and Fe+13 ground configurations. Semi-classical Coulomb excitation theory was used with the resulting truncated Schroedinger equations being directly integrated. The corresponding rate constants for coronal temperatures are presented and comparison is made with previous results. (orig.)

Es wurden Werte fuer Wirkungsquerschnitte von Protonstoessen bei Sonnenenergien fuer alle Uebergaenge zwischen magnetischen Subniveaus der Grundkonfigurationen von Fe+12 und Fe+13 berechnet. Dabei wurde die semiklassische Coulombanregungstheorie verwendet, und die resultierenden Schroedinger-Gleichungen direkt integriert. Die entsprechenden Geschwindigkeitskonstanten fuer Koronartemperaturen werden angegeben, und ein Vergleich mit frueheren Ergebnissen durchgefuehrt. (orig./AK)Additional details
