On the reverse time-of-flight Analysis of the spectra measured using the CFDF

  • 1. Reactor and Neutron Physics Dept., NRC, Atomic Energy Authority, Cairo (Egypt)

Description

The present work deals with the development of the new approach, previously suggested, for the analysis of the diffraction spectra measured using the Cairo Fourier Diffractometer Facility (CFDF). The suggested design is presented in its final form along with test measurements with the CFDF at the ETRR-1 reactor. It has been verified that the presented design can be used successfully for the analysis of the reverse time of flight spectra measured by Fourier diffractometer; either attached to a steady state or pulsed beam reactor. It also offers the possibility of processing the data collected at different experimental parameters; and allows to observe the behaviour of the chopper using the previously stored pick-up data
