CVD of thin tungsten layers on carbon fiber bundles

Description
It was proved by Brennfleck, that tungsten layers promise a better behaviour as barrier between the niobium carbon nitride and the carbon substrate. The problem of the present study is to develop the optimum thickness of tungsten layers on carbon fibers in order to avoid decrease of mechanical properties. (orig./MM)
