On stability of measurement results for hydrogen permeability of steel type 40Kh

Description
Multiple measurements of hydrogen permeability of one and the same steel 40Kh sample are carried out. The tests performed unambiguously testify to the absence of repeated results on measuring dependence of hydrogen permeability of the 40Kh steel samples on time. The conclusion is made that by studying influence of external effects, for example, deformations on hydrogen behaviour with impacts and without impacts on one and the same sample may lead to results requiring an account of irreversible sample microstructure changes caused by hydrogen absorption
