Classification of heavy metal fluorides. Fluorides with square-rhombic cation net of 32 434 type
Description
Cation positions in some structures of complex fluorides with U4+, Th4+, Zr4+, differing by composition, symmetry, lattice parameters, were analyzed. The typical fragment of structure-planar clos-packed cation nets of 32 434 type - was distingnished in U2F9, CsU2F9, BaZr2F10xH2O, LiTlZr2F22, TlZaF5, NH4UF5, BaZrF6 and TlBF4 structures. The whole complex of closely occupied cation planes, forming the basis of highly symmetrical U2F9 structural type, chosen as a standard for all structures, containing similar cation nets, was described
