A neutrino-induced Deuteron Disintegration Experiment at the Krasnoyarsk Nuclear Reactor

Description

The investigation of antineutrino interaction with the nucleus of deuteron (CCD and NCD reaction) and hydrogen (CCP) at the Krasnoyarsk underground reactor using 'Deuteron' detector are presented. As a result the cross section for NCD and NCD were measured with ∼9% precision. For the CCP precision is ∼3%. σexpncd = (3.27 ± 0.30) x 10-44 cm2 / fission 235U, σexpccd= (1.12 ± 0.07) x 10(-44 cm2/ fission 235U, σexpccp = (6.39 ± 0.19) x 10-43 cm2 / fission 235U. The precision of the experimental results is close to the theoretical one and in good agreement with other experiments. The limits on the antineutrino oscillation parameters into a sterile state was obtained
