Spectral line radiation of perturbed argon and helium plasma
Creators
- 1. Institut za Fiziku, Belgrade (Yugoslavia)
Description
Argon and helium glow discharge plasma was perturbed by a short electric pulse. Sudden increase of plasma energy causes drastic perturbation of equilibrium processes of excitation and ionization. Temporal behaviour of spectral line intensities emitted during and after the perturbation indicate two clearly distinctive phases: excitation and recombination phase. Records are typical for the plasma and particular energy level. (Auth.)
