Viscous transverse-aligned MHD flows
Description
Basic equations for plane steady viscous flows of an electrically conducting fluid, when the applied magnetic field is transverse-aligned, are recast in a new form by following Martin and Chandna and Garg. Three illustrations of these new form of equations, when the streamlines are straight or involutes of a curve or form an isometric net with their orthogonal trajectories, are studied. (author)
