Selection of registration region within the limits of the 4.7-μ band of CO and 4.3-μ band of CO2 in determining vibrational temperatures under nonequilibrium conditions
Creators
Description
Results are presented from an investigation of the redistribution of intensity in the vibrational-rotational bands at 4.7 μ for CO and 4.3 μ for CO2, depending on the vibrational temperatures of the active and passive modes and the tranlational temperature. The authors demonstrate the possibility of minimizing the error related to approximating the temperature of the passive mode and the vibrational temperature. The analysis offers a means for optimal selection of spectral intervals for registration of intensity within the limits of the band in determining vibrational temperatures in a nonequilibrium medium on the basis of the measured radiation intensity
