Endurance test for HIMET fuel irradiation rig
Description
This report presents the pressure drop, vibration and endurance test results for HIMET Fuel Irradiation Rig. From the pressure drop test results, it is noted that the flow rate through the rig corresponding to the pressure drop of 200 kPa is measured to be about 5.1 kg/sec. Vibration frequency for the HIMET Fuel Irradiation Rig ranges from 13 to 16 Hz. RMS(Root Mean Square) displacement for the HIMET Fuel Irradiation Rig is less than 30 μm, and the maximum displacement is less than 140 μ. These experimental results show that the design criteria of HIMET Fuel Irradiation Rig meet the HANARO limit conditions. Endurance test results show that the appreciable fretting wear for the HIMET Fuel Irradiation Rig did not occur
