Description
An international co-operative research project has been established under the name of DECOVALEX for theoretical and experimental studies of coupled thermal, hydrological and mechanical processes for safety assessment of geologic disposal of radioactive waste. Different mathematical models and computer codes have been developed by different national research teams and these are used to study so-called bench mark test and test case problems developed within this project. PNC is one of the funding organizations and the research teams. This paper presents the approaches of the project, the results for PNC and the future works of the project. (author)
