Description
The structures of hydroxides of the Mo(OH) composition, where M = Sc, Y, V, In, are considered. In the YO(OH) compound hydrogen bonds are absent, the structure is monoclinic as in all 4f-elements. The InO(OH) compound has the structure of the rutile type distorted due to the formation of hydrogen bonds (2.54 A). The α- and γ-ScO(OH) structure is described
