Alfven waves and rotation of collisional plasmas in tokamaks

Description

In this work we estimate the quasistationary poloidal and toroidal velocities and radial electric fields produced by Alfven waves, in collisional (edge) plasmas of slightly rippled tokamaks. The method developed can be applied to other tokamaks considering other waves for operating the plasma dynamics, taking into account the appropriate dispersion relation for that type of waves.
