Ion beam mixing of FeAl multilayers: in-situ kinetics by resistivity measurements

Description

Electrical resistivity measurements performed continuously in situ during ion implantations are used to study the ion beam mixing of FeAl multilayers. The total mixing of the films is easily determined from the experiments, and the dose variations of the volume fraction of mixed atoms is also deduced

Des mesures de resistivite electrique effectuees de facon continue in situ pendant des implantations ioniques sont utilisees pour etudier le melange par faisceau d'ions de multicouches FeAl. Le melange total des couches est facilement determine a partir des experiences et la variation avec la dose de la fraction volumique des atomes melanges est aussi deduite
