Effect of cadmium and tin tellurides on electrical properties of Bi2Te3 and Sb2Te3
Description
The coefficient of thermo-e. m. f., electric conductivity concentration and mobility of solid solution charge carariers on the base of compounds with the Bi2Te3+ Sb2Te3 tetradimite stpucture in the B2Te3-CdTe, Bi2Te3-SnTe, Sb2Te3-CdTe systems ape determined. It is shown that CdTe in Sb2Te3, Bi2Te3 and SnTe in Bi2Te3 manifest acceptor properties. It has been found that the formation of the solid solution in the B2Te3-CdTe(SnTe) systems on the Bi2Te3 base increases the B2Te3 thermoelectric quality Temperature dependences α, σ, kappa of solid solutions on the Bi2Te3, Sb2Te3 base in the 300-700 K region are investigated. Maximum values of thermoelectric quality of solid solutions on the B2Te3 base are in the 300-390 K region
