3He release from UT3
Description
Recent Mound Laboratory data for the temperature and particle size dependence of 3He release from UT3 are summarized. The quasi steady-state 3He early release rate is shown to increase with increasing specific surface area, and the 3He release characteristics are shown to be temperature insensitive near 250C. A qualitative model for 3He mobility in UT3 is proposed, and an estimate of the 3He migration energy is made
