Hadron-hadron interactions with large transverse momenta
Description
An empirical scaling formula is proposed for the large transverse momentum hadron production process. The formula implies that the mean transverse momentum <Psub(T) of the produced hadrons increases with incident energy. Our formula indicates that large-Psub(T) hadrons originate from highly localized interaction regions, being at high temperature
