Heavy metal contamination of the sediments of the river Neckar and its tributaries. Stocktaking 1990 and comparison with previous investigations

Description

To evaluate the quality of the sediment, the geoaccumulation index was used. The contamination of the sediments with 7 heavy metals given limits in the Sewage Order shows the latest state of the heavy metal situation in the waters of the Neckar catchment area. The findings are listed in extensive tables and graphs. (DG)

Zur Bewertung der Sedimentqualitaet wurde der Geoakkumulations-Index benutzt. Die Belastung der Sedimente mit 7 in der Klaerschlammverordnung mit Grenzwerten belegten Schwermetallen ergibt den neuesten Stand der Schwermetall-Situation in den Fliessgewaessern des Neckar-Einzugsgebietes. Die Befunde sind in umfangreichen Tabellen und Darstellungen aufgefuehrt. (DG)
