Description
The question whether the 102 - 1015 GeV big desert is completely wild or contains some oases at intermediate mass scales (IMS) is studied in this paper. Three new topics which have recently been introduced into the IMS debate are studied: can CP violation, cosmological baryon(B) asymmetry, and neutrino masses provide new insights into grand unified theories as signals of where IMS oases blossom in the big desert. CP violation and IMS, baryon asymmetry versus IMS, and neutrino masses and left-right symmetric models at IMS all indicate positive results
