Delayed neutron signal characterization in a fast reactor
Description
This paper documents techniques developed at EBR-II for DN signal analysis and characterization that can provide diagnostic information to augment data from cover-gas analyses in the detection and identification of breached elements. The development of an analytical transport and decay model for DN precursors is presented and the capabilities, limitations, and results of the model are discussed. 10 refs
