Development of digital control high-stability X-ray source

Description
An X-ray generator works on high-voltage and low-voltage power supplies. In this paper, a continual adjustable DC high voltage power supply and filament current source were design based on switching power-supply technology and resonant inverter technology. Microcontroller was employed for the realization of the digital control scheme. Test results show that the X-ray source satisfies the requirements of security inspection equipment. (authors)
