The role of 99Tcm-RBC scintigraphy in diagnosis of small intestine bleeding: a 64 case analysis

Description
Objective: To evaluate the clinical value of 99Tcm-RBC scintigraphy in diagnosis of small intestine bleeding. Methods: 99Tcm-RBC scintigraphy was performed on 64 patients who were clinically suspected with small intestine bleeding before surgery, and the results were compared with the results of pathology and surgery. Results: The sensitivity and specificity were 95.3% and 88.5%, respectively. And the accuracy of focus locating was 84.4%. Conclusions: 99Tcm-RBC scintigraphy can be used in diagnosis of small intestine bleeding. Early started imaging, higher frequency of data acquisition are the critical factors for the accurate diagnosis and locating of small intestine bleeding
