Kudankulam Nuclear Power Station: set to make the best use of advanced light water reactors
Description
For long, India has been attempting to increase the share of nuclear power through setting up of nuclear plants with foreign technology and money. The earnings from these plants are also expected to be channalised to consolidate the indigenous programmes. The Kudankulam project, which envisages setting up of a 2x1000 MWe power station is an effort in that direction
