A randomized controlled trial of varying radiation doses in the treatment of choroidal melanoma
Description
There is no difference in term of local control nor metastases evolution between the radiotherapy at 70 Gy E.C. (Gray equivalent cobalt) and this one at 50 Gy E.C.. Nevertheless the side effects seem less important at 50 Gy E.C.. The next objective is not to reduce the radiation doses but to reduce the radiation dose by fraction and to increase the number of irradiation fractions. (N.C.)
