SLAC electron-positron colliders: present and future

Description

Stanford University's colliding beam program is outlined, including the SPEAR and PEP colliders and the SLAC linear collider. The accelerator developments to be pursued on these facilities are discussed, as well as advanced accelerator research and development. The items covered in the advanced accelerator research include beamstrahlung, stability requirements, breakdown limits, and power sources
