Description
Ever since its first observation in 72Se, co-existence of two nuclear shapes is now a general phenomenon in A ∼ 80 mass nuclei. The shape structures are found to change with the addition of two protons or two neutrons. The potential energy surfaces are calculated for N=Z, 72Kr to 92Pd nuclei, in an axially deformed relativistic mean field (RMF) approach, using a quadratic constraint scheme
