Description
Experiments on extraction and formation of 70 GeV accelerated proton beam in the U-70 accelerator channels using a bent monocrystal were carried out. The results provide grounds for wider application of devices based on bent monocrystals on the IHEP experimental basis for effective use of an accelerated beam. The analysis has shown that there is a number of regions in the U-70 accelerator, where the use of the given method can considerably improve the utilization factor of the complex. 8 refs.; 4 figs
