Irradiation of agricultural products to reduce post-harvest losses in Brazil
Description
Research was performed to test potential methods of extending the shelf-life of mangoes. Hot water treatment combined with irradiation was found to yield the best results. In addition, the effects of heat and gamma irradiation on concentrated orange juice were monitored
