Evaluation of intrinsic uniformity of gamma cameras in two hospitals in the Costa Rican Social Security

It is well known that in diagnostic imaging, quality control procedures are important to verify the correct performance of the equipment under certain irradiation conditions that do not vary over time. At the Caja Costarricense del Seguro Social, in the past few years medical physicists have been incorporated in order to verify and carry on quality control tests in the instruments of the nuclear medicine departments. One of the first tasks was to develop a digital management system of data resulting from quality control tests.
