The present paper describes the last MTR transport operations performed in September 1998 by TRANSNUCLEAIRE and especially from South America (Uruguay and Venezuela) from where MTR spent fuels from Research Reactors were taken in change within a DOE contract for the storage of such material at Savannah River Site in the USA.
