Muon-electron symmetry and neutrino magnetic moments
Description
Muon-electron symmetry may lead to a massive four-component ZKM neutrino combining νe and νμ. The interactions producing this mass term may be classified in terms of a horizontal symmetry SU(2)H connecting the first two lepton generations. Two limiting cases are identified, one in which the ratio of the magnetic moment to the mass is highly suppressed and the other in which it is enhanced. (orig.)
